The pandemic appears to be hitting the residential real estate market hard. Rock-Green Realtors Association President Colleen Nelson says the number of sales dipped more than 22% last month compared to a year ago. Nelson says many sellers are limiting showings, due to fear of contracting COVID-19, while others have pulled their listing altogether. She says the median sales price is still on the rise, in part, because only higher priced homes are on the market. She says she feels sorry for first time buyers, who are having trouble finding affordable housing.
