A week after President Trump cancelled a planned speech in Janesville, one of his sons will be making a campaign stop in Milton.

The Trump campaign announced Eric Trump is scheduled to speak at Diamond Assets on Monday, October 12 at 2:00 p.m.

The announcement says Eric will share Trump’s “Make America Great Again agenda” with the public.

The campaign is limiting attendance to two tickets per mobile phone number that registers, but it does not say what the capacity of the event will be.

Diamond Assets is a private technology assets management company run by Mike and Diamond McKenna, located at 1850 Putman Parkway in Milton.

When President Trump announced his previously scheduled visit to Janesville, Rock County leaders issued a statement asking campaigns not to hold such a large public gathering while the area was seeing such a high spike in COVID-19 cases.

Trump cancelled his speech at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport after testing positive for the coronavirus. A spokesperson for Eric Trump said the President’s son tested negative last weekend after potentially being exposed.
