A local State Senator is applauding a judges decision to reject a lawsuit asking for limits on the Governor’s mask order. Janis Ringhand of Evansville says failed lawsuits are simply prolonging public suffering. Ringhand says Republicans in the majority could call a session at any time to deal with the crisis, but have not. The Democrat says the Secretary of Health and Social Services has already offered guidelines based on science. She also charges Republicans with hiding behind their taxpayer funded legal slush fund in support of wealthy benefactors at the expense of state residents.
