Enrollment is up in the School District of Janesville.

According to a news release, based on the third Friday in September count, total student enrollment was 9,468 for the 2021-2022 school year.

That’s a slight increase of 13 students over the previous year.

K-12 enrollment dropped by 23 students, and Youth Services Center enrollment dropped by 10 students.

The district gained nine students in early childhood and 37 students in four-year-old kindergarten.
