A local local family is looking to donate a new gazebo structure at Riverside Park in Janesville.

Planning Director Duane Cherek says it would be located on Park Hill Drive within Lilac Circle.

Cherek says state statute requires that the location and design of public buildings must be referred to the Plan Commission.

If approved by the City Council the 16′ foot octagon gazebo is expected to be constructed in the spring of 2022.
