The Rock County Historical Society invites businesses, nonprofits, families and individuals to sponsor a tree for its 2021 Holiday Tree Show, set for November 26 – December 30 both inside and outside the Lincoln-Tallman House, 450 N. Jackson St., Janesville.

This year’s Holiday Tree Show will feature more than 130 trees and decorations indoors, with 2,500 people from around the region expected to tour the mansion and grounds. An additional 31 live evergreens are available for sponsors to decorate outdoors.

Each business or individual sponsoring a tree inside the Lincoln-Tallman House is invited to decorate a pre-lit tree provided by RCHS. Every tree is uniquely adorned, to the delight of tour-goers. Indoor tree sponsors will be recognized in a guide provided to all who visit.

The Holiday Tree Show is open Thursdays through Sundays. (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.) Open every day from December 26 – December 30. Tickets to tour the festively decorated Lincoln-Tallman House will be $10 each.

2021 marks the second year that RCHS is also offering outdoor trees for sponsorship. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week beginning November 26, the outdoor tree show is free to the public. RCHS provides electricity; sponsors are asked to decorate their tree using LED lights and outdoor décor.

Sponsors are encouraged to register early for the best tree selection. Registration deadline for both indoor and outdoor tree sponsorship is November 19.
