The Hoard Historical Museum in Fort Atkinson hosts it’s 44th annual Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social on the 4th of July.

Director Marilee Lee says the event which runs from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. will feature free ice cream sundaes, kids activities, live music, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Music will be provided by “The Harmony Cornet Band” who play historic popular music on period instruments.

Lee says the Historic 1901 Water Tower and the Foster House will also be open for tours during the event.
