A 43-year-old Milton man is dead after a single vehicle crash at the intersection of South Scharine Road and Highway 14.  Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of Scharine Road and Highway 14 just after midnight Friday.  Investigators says the victim was driving South on Sharine Road and failed to stop for the stop sign at Highway 14.  His pick-up ended up in the south side embankment.  Life saving measures were started at the scene, but authorities say he died at the hospital.  A 32-year-old passenger, also from Milton, was injured and is in stable condition.  A sheriff’s office news release states alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
