Following limited service since March, the Beloit Transit System plans to resume regular routes on Monday. Transit System Operations Manager James Thompson says COVID-19 safeguards will be in place including a maximum of ten-riders, daily disinfection of busses, and a request passengers wear face masks. B-T-S has been offering on-demand service since the beginning of the crisis, and Thompson says that has worked well, but with the reopening of the economy, officials felt it was important to accomodate those needing to shop, return to work, and go to medical appointements.
