A 50-year-old Janesville man is dead, and a 51-year-old Janesville women critically injured after a motorcycle crash Saturday night. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the man was driving westbound on West County Highway WC approaching West Highway 11 when he lost control and hit the raised curbed median along with a sign. Both he and his passenger were thrown off the bike. Deputies say both were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries,  where the driver later died. Officials say neither appear to have been wearing helmets and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
