Air Force II touched down at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport just after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday and took off again later in the afternoon following Pence’s campaign speech in Darien.
Rock County Sheriff’s Commander Jude Maurer said they had more than a dozen deputies involved in the motorcade, both escorting the vice president and blocking traffic along their route to Walworth County.
