Rock County Sheriff’s deputies arrest a Janesville man for 10 counts of possessing child pornography.

27-year-old Tyler S. Johnson is scheduled to make his initial appearance in Rock County Court on Monday, when he will be formally charged by the district attorney.

The sheriff’s office conducted a multi-week investigation into Johnson after receiving a online tip.

They executed a search warrant in his Town of Janesville home and discovered child pornography on his devices.

Possession of child pornography is a Class D felony in Wisconsin, which carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison or a $100,000 fine or both.
