A Beloit man is accused of intentionally exposing himself to an underage teen girl he knows.

46-year-old Mauro Romero is charged in Rock County Court as a repeater.

Court records show he was found guilty of exposing himself to a child and child enticement in a Jefferson County jury trial in September of 2018.

In that case, the court withheld sentencing and placed him on probation for three years along with 15 years of registering as a sex offender.

The new allegations stem from earlier this summer, when the 15-year-old victim said Romero intentionally showed his private parts to her.

Beloit police officer Lorenzo Henderson said in court Monday he was dispatched to a report of an unwanted subject at a property in June, and while on scene the victim reported the sex offense from a month earlier.

Romero denied exposing himself but did tell police he was at the residence around the time of the incident.
