Beloit College’s COVID-19 testing identifies six new positive cases on campus.

The school’s health and wellness staff is putting those six students in separate living spaces to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

They are also working to contact all students and staff who may have had close contact with the six positive cases and asking them to self-quarantine for 14 days.

Beloit College recently partnered with Abbott Laboratories to test students weekly, and they’re encouraging everyone on campus to follow public health protocols and avoid off-campus visits.

The school’s COVID-19 dashboard lists two coronavirus cases among staff members and faculty over the last 14 days as hybrid learning continues this semester.
