A 52-year-old Middleton man is facing a charge of 5th Offense Operating while Intoxicated after being arrested in Rock County. Deputies responded to West Highway 11 and South Severson Road about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a vehicle on the side of the road.  Deputies say the driver, Stephen D. Clauss showed signs of impairment and was booked into the Rock County Jail.  Authorities say Clauss was also arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Owner’s Consent because the vehicle he was driving was stolen out of Madison.
