The Janesville City Council unanimously approves the rezoning of two parcels of land along Reuther Way to allow the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 890 to build a new training facility and union office.

Planning Director Duane Cherek says the plan includes an 11,000 square foot single story building.

Cherek says the union hopes to start getting bids in December and break ground in March.
