A local legislator will retain his leadership position at the capital.  Representative Mark Spreitzer of Beloit has been unanimously reelected as the Assembly Democratic Caucus Chair.  Spreitzer says he’s looking forward to working with his colleagues to tackle the critical challenges facing the state in the coming session.  A top issue for the Democrat is redistricting.  He says for the last decade, extreme partisan gerrymandering has prevented policies, supported by the majority of Wisconsinites, from being addressed in the legislature.  Spreitzer will begin his fourth term representing the 45th Assembly District in January.
