Beloit Police arrest a 78-year-old Village of Greendale man wanted in connection with a shooting Wednesday in the City of Brookfield.

According to a news release Brookfield Police responded to a shooting just before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The 52-year-old victim was walking to his vehicle when he was confronted by an armed subject and shot in the head.

Officers identified the shooter as a 78-year-old man who had prior business dealings with the victim.

The suspect was arrested shortly before 1:00 Thursday morning in the City of Beloit.

The victim is being treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
