The Janesville School Board votes to allow winter sports to continue despite a move to all virtual instruction for middle and high school students.

School Board Member Michelle Haworth says parents can choose not to enter their kids in sports if they don’t want to.

Haworth says students have already been playing these sports all summer long at the club level and many practices and work outs have already been held safely.

Haworth says allowing winter sports is just the first step. Other clubs and organizations could also continue this winter if they present a safety plan to the school board.
