Beloit Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to a Facebook post officers were dispatched to the area of Park and Bushnell Avenues just before 2:15 a.m. on the report that a woman had been shot while inside a vehicle.

The 21-year-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital for a non-life threatening injury.

The incident remains under investigation.
