Police say thieves broke into Charlie’s Place on East Racine Street over the weekend.  Officers responded to an alarm about 5:00 a.m. Saturday and found a window broken.  Investigators say cash in the video gaming machines was the target.  A similar break-in occurred early Friday morning at Barkley’s Burgers, Brews, and Dawgs on West Court Street.  In that case police described the suspects as a 5 foot 11 inch, 175 pound male and a 5 foot 9 inch, 150 pound male, both wearing dark colored clothing.  Their vehicle was described as a dark colored SUV driven by an unknown third suspect.
