The Janesville City Clerks Office is warning citizens they may see a delay in receiving their tax bills.

According to a news release, earlier this month, the City issued more than 26,000 tax bills on behalf of all taxing jurisdictions including city, county, school districts, and technical college.

The mailing service recently informed the City that there are currently delays across the country with the United States Postal Service due to historic high demands, winter weather, and COVID-19 implications.

While some property tax bills may be delayed, property owners can still access their bills online on Rock County’s website.
