The COVID-19 community testing site at Blackhawk Technical college will be closed (Wednesday) due to the winter storm warning.

Testing will resume at 11:00 Thursday morning and run until 7:00 p.m. or until up to 1,300 tests are administered.

When the testing site opened in October members of the National Guard were able to test up to 900 people on Wednesday and Thursdays. They increased that capacity by 400 tests last month.

The site has had to shut down early in the past because testing supplies ran out.
