A 32-year-old South Beloit man is arrested on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated 5th Offense after being picked up in Clinton. Police say an officer stopped a vehicle about 4:00 p.m. Sunday, which was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Milwaukee street near Industrial Drive. Authorities say the driver, Russell A. Walmer Jr. showed signs of impairment during standardized field sobriety testing. Walmer was also arrested for Operating While Revoked.
