A single-vehicle crash involving a semi truck carrying a load of onions closes Interstate 43 near Beloit in both directions for more than four hours Tuesday.

According to a notification from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation the crash occurred just before 10:00 a.m. on southbound I-43 near Hart Road.

According to the Rock County 911 Communications Center there were no reported injuries.

Traffic is being re-routed onto I-39/90.
