A local non-profit finally has a permanent place to call home.

Executive Director Celestino Ruffini says Visit Beloit has been operating out of the Eclipse Center for three-and-a-half years.

The former Angel Museum was purchased from the City of Beloit in January of 2020.

Phase one of construction included the conversion of the basement into office space, improvements to the kitchen and bathrooms, exterior modifications, and a complete renovation of the main floor into an event venue. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the organization’s finances, the remaining renovations on the main floor will happen at a future time.

In addition, a future 7,900 sq. ft. office complex addition is planned to be constructed within the second phase of this project.
