Voters in the Rock County Communities of Avon, Center, Plymouth, Union, and Orfordville will have a referendum question on their April ballot.

Don Bokamp with the Western Rock County ATV Club says they would like to open up the rural roads to off-road vehicles.

Bokamp says ATV and UTV riders are subject to the same OWI laws as drivers of regular cars and they typically travel at a speed slightly under the speed limit in order to maintain safety without impeding traffic.

The Village of Footville already approved the measure.

Bokamp says the club is hosting informational meetings on March 18th at 7:00 p.m. at Bass Creek Golf Course in Footville, and March 21st at 3:30 p.m. at Knutes Bar and Grill in Orfordville.
