The city of Milton has applied to the Department of Natural Resources for funding to help residential property owners replace lead pipe water service lines.  City Engineer Mark Langer says the program could help property owners pay for the replacement.  Langer says a typical service line replacement costs more than $5000.  He’s hoping to move forward on the project as early as this spring.
