Janesville Police are hoping the public can help locate a suspect accused of pulling a knife on a 12-year-old riding their bike on Thursday.

Lieutenant Chad Pearson says the incident occurred on the bike trail between Mackinac Drive and Randolph Road between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Pearson says the incident wasn’t reported until several hours after it occurred after the child reported the contact to his mother.

Pearson says the suspect is described as a six foot tall white man who weighs about 210 pounds and was wearing all black.
