A local Congressman argues cities like Janesville aren’t getting a fair share of the latest federal COVID-19 stimulus relief bill. Bryan Steil tells Your Talk Show on WCLO the bill bails out reckless spending cities like Chicago and shortchanges hardworking communities like his hometown of Janesville. Steil says Janesville will receive the lowest per capita funding amount of any metropolitan city in Wisconsin. The Republican points out municipal payments to Milwaukee totaling close to $700 per person, compared to Janesville’s less than $200 per person.
