A local police department has pin-pointed the most dangerous areas in the city for speed related traffic crashes. The Beloit Police Department put together three-years of data to highlight where most of these types of crashes occur. Liberty Avenue east of Madison Road had the most daytime speed related crashes over the last three years and the downtown bridges were the second most common area for crashes. Police hope to use the information to work with the pubic to reduce these types of crashes. A map can be found on the police department’s Facebook page.
