Janesville police are looking for any information regarding a suspicious person approaching a child this week.  Police say Wednesday afternoon about 5:45 the individual had contact with a small child near the intersection of Lucerne and Clover Lane.  The individual is described as a Caucasian male, tall and slender, possibly in his 20’s or 30’s.  He left when an older sibling of the child approached.  The individual may have been driving a dark colored, smaller S.U.V, similar in size to a Honda C.R.V, with tinted windows.  Anyone who has information about the above encounter or who was near the intersection at the above date and time are encouraged to contact the Janesville Police Department at (608)757-2244 or Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at (608)756-3636.
