The Beloit Snappers are letting fans name their stadium for the first half of the season.

The team is auctioning off the naming rights for each remaining home game at Pohlman Field.

The proceeds from the auction will go toward the Stateline Boys and Girls Club capital campaign.

The bids start at $500 and also come with a package including eight tickets to the game, two vinyl signs displayed at the stadium and the chance to lead the seventh-inning stretch.

The Snappers believe they are the first professional baseball team to make their stadium’s name up for auction.

The naming rights for their new downtown stadium currently under construction have already been awarded to ABC Supply.
