The Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of the victim from this weekend’s single-vehicle crash in Janesville.  Officials say 36-year-old Casey M. Swendsen of Stoughton died from injuries sustained in the crash which was reported at 2:40 a.m. Saturday morning.  Janesville Police say Swendsen was traveling west on East Court Street near Atwood Avenue when he failed to negotiate a curve and hit a tree.  Police say speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash which is still under investigation.
