A local community plans to celebrate Public Works Week by putting some heavy-duty equipment on display for children to enjoy.  Beloit Director of Strategic Communications Sarah Lock says efforts by the public works department often goes unnoticed.  The equipment will be on display this Saturday at the Farmer’s Market downtown.  Lock says plenty of kid’s activities will be included.
