The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board is poised to provide services to the approximately 200 workers who could lose their jobs when Hufcor closes it’s Janesville manufacturing division.

CEO Rhonda Suda says her office is working on setting up a rapid response meeting for employees.

The room partition manufacturer announced last week it would keep its research and development, testing, and customer service operations in Janesville while moving it manufacturing division to Mexico.

Suda says it’s unfortunate when a company like Hufcor that has such a strong history in the City has to make a decision like this.
