The Rock County Public Health Department abandons it’s phased reopening plan.
Starting Tuesday, June 8th, all Rock County businesses man return to 100% occupancy and reopen fully.
According to a news release, the Health Department will continue to update the COVID-19 dashboard and metrics every two weeks, keeping a close watch on changing statistics and adjust accordingly.
The rationale for the discontinuation of the phased reopening plan include the significant decrease in COVID-19 activity, significant decrease in hospitalizations, and steady increase in vaccination rates.
Despite discontinuing the reopening plan, the health department recommends unvaccinated individuals continue to wear masks and socially distance.
