Janesville police are investigating a Thursday evening shooting.

The Rock County Emergency Dispatch Center received a report of a gunshot wound victim in the 500 block of Milton Avenue just before 4:30 p.m.

Around 40 minutes later, dispatched received another report of potential shots fired just down the road in the 500 block of East Centerway Street.

It is not clear if either of the two reports are connected.

WCLO was unable to contact Janesville police for immediate details.
