The Janesville Police Department (JPD) is excited to bring its popular National Night Out event back to the City of Janesville for 2021. This free, annual community event will be held on Tuesday, August 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Traxler Park, 600 N. Main Street.
National Night Out provides an opportunity for people to interact with public safety officials in a relaxed family-focused setting. The event will feature community-building activities, food and drinks, music, equipment displays, and opportunities to meet and greet local law enforcement. JPD is excited to once again host National Night Out after last year’s event was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In the spirit of enhancing community partnerships, interested community groups and vendors are encouraged to consider participating in National Night Out by applying for space in the Community Information Vendor Booth display area. Vendor space is free and a table and two chairs will be provided.
JPD looks forward to welcoming back the community to National Night Out for yet another great family-focused event!
