Beloit Police make an arrest in connection with the theft of multiple vehicles from an automobile dealership on Broad Street in May.

Suspects forced entry into the business and a total of eight vehicles were stolen between 11:00 p.m. on May 20th and 5:25 a.m. on May 21st. Multiple vehicles have since been recovered.

According to a Facebook post, during the course of the investigation, 33-year-old Erik C. Ciaramita of Beloit was identified as a suspect.

Officers observed Ciaramita enter a residence in the 800 block of Central Avenue around 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

The tactical operations unit was deployed, and Ciaramita surrendered without incident. He was taken into custody for burglary, theft, operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, and a probation hold.
