
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management Bureau reports that a tornado touched down in Clinton on Monday.
According to a news release, the Clinton Fire Department notified the Rock County 911 Communications Center that there was a possible funnel cloud in the area of the Butterfly Club shortly before 3:00 p.m.
The National Weather Service investigated the report and located a rotation on the radar, which prompted the issuance of a tornado warning for southeast Rock County.
The Clinton Fire Department reported witnessing the funnel cloud entering Walworth County by 3:19 p.m.
The Sheriff’s Office says there was no reported damages or injuries.
