A 21-year-old Janesville man is under arrest on suspicion of a number of drugs and weapons charges in addition to several active warrants after an police officer spotted him at a local gas station.

Janesville Police say an officer observed Damon C. Hill at the Kwik Trip on West Court Street just before 10:30 Wednesday night and knew he had outstanding warrants as well as fresh domestic violence charges.

The office place Hill under arrest and a search of his vehicle turned up marijuana, a scale, cash, and a loaded handgun.

Hill faces new charges of possession with intent to deliver THC, maintaining a drug trafficking vehicle, possession of paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, and bail jumping.
