A local Congressman is raising concern about the growing national debt.  Second District Representative Bryan Steil of Janesville warns one-quarter, of the $1 trillion infrastructure package working its way through Congress, is being funded through debt.  Steil predicts even more debt will be needed to pay for a proposed $3.5 million social infrastructure spending plan.  The Republican says the national debt is already $29 trillion, which is equal to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product.  He says the rich will not be the only ones to see tax increases.
