The City of Beloit plays host once again to a national tournament for an addictive yard game that involves throwing wooden batons at wooden blocks.

Visit Beloit Director of Sales and Servicing Matthew Bosen says the U.S. Kubb Open was held this past weekend.

Bosen says this was Beloit’s seventh year hosting a kubb tournament, with 2021 being the fifth U.S. Kubb Open.

The tournament attracted 34 teams from five states: Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
