A Beloit church works to fill a need on the west side.

Coordinator Carol Wilkins says Messiah Lutheran Church has opened a food pantry.

Wilkins says the food pantry will be open the second and fourth Thursday of every month from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m.

Wilkins says donations can be dropped off during the food pantry’s hours, or at the church office from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
