An 18-year-old from the town of Beloit is under arrest on suspicion of 10 counts of possession of child pornography, sexual exploitation of a child and child enticement.

According to a news release from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed on a home on the 2900 block of South Iris Drive in the town of Beloit on Monday.

As a result of the investigation, Jose A. Melgoza was taken into custody and transported to the Rock County Jail.

Melgoza is expected to make his initial appearance in Rock County Court Wednesday afternoon.
