The data proves COVID-19 vaccinations are working according to the Rock County Public Health Department.

Epidemiologist Nick Zupan says as of Friday there were 592 active cases in Rock County.

Less than a half of one percent of vaccinated people are testing positive for COVID-19. Zupan says on the other side, 21.7% of unvaccinated individuals have tested positive for COVID-19.

Zupan says only 23 people who are fully vaccinated have been hospitalized in Rock County with COVID-19, while 1,025 unvaccinated individuals have been hospitalized.
