Public works crews in Janesville expect to spend much of the day at a water main break on the city’s east side.  The water utility is working on repairs at North Pontiac Drive and Mount Zion Avenue.  The City expects repairs and related street reconstruction work to continue for most of Tuesday.  Water service has been temporarily interrupted on North Pontiac Drive from Mount Zion Avenue to Lilac Lane and Lilac Lane to North Claremont Drive.  Drivers are encouraged to avoid this area to allow the City staff the time needed to make the necessary repairs.
