Major renovations are underway on a local college campus.  Blackhawk Technical College is undertaking construction projects on the cafeteria, commons, and old library.  The upper level will be transformed into a new conference center, and the lower level will be home to the student union and cafeteria.  College officials say these newly renovated areas will elevate the on-campus experience by providing collaborative and inclusive spaces for students.  Work is expected to be completed by next spring.
