Fort Atkinson Police are looking for a 41-year-old man who’s been missing from his adult group home for more than two weeks.

According to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Scott Lee McDaniel was last seen when all of the residents a group home on North Main Street in Fort Atkinson were evacuated for a fire alarm on October 5th around 5:30 p.m.

McDaniel traveled to Mukwonago that night by taxi and went to an old friend’s house. The friend’s parents gave him a ride back to Fort Atkinson and he jumped out of the car just south of town.

McDaniel is Schizophrenic and does not have medication with him. He’s been incarcerated in the past for attempting to kill his parents.
